Founded in Yerevan and later expanding throughout Armenia and abroad, TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is considered one of the most successful educational initiatives in the period of independence of Armenia.
Formed as an extracurricular educational initiative, it has become a hub for IT start-ups and companies. Several educational buildings are planned to be constructed next to the main building of TUMO located in Tumanyan Community Park.
Therefore, through the initiative to develop the Master Plan of the TUMO complex, we aimed to integrate new buildings under construction into the public life of Halabyan street, bearing in mind further developments of Abelyan Street.
The idea of completing the construction of Ajapnyak Metro Station, which was conceived and partially built during the Soviet years, as well as incorporate Tumanyan Park with urban green space of the Hrazdan gorge was put forward as well.
